LiveLitigation User Privacy Agreement

Our Privacy Policy applies to your use of all products, services, and websites offered by Live Cloud Depositions, LLC.

  • We retain personal information while you are a customer, or as needed for business, tax, or legal purposes.
  • We protect your information using encryption and other appropriate security measures.

100. Coverage of Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy concerns nonpublic personal information about you—personally identifiable information (e.g., name, address, birth date, email, phone, and payment information) that is not otherwise publicly available. It applies to any list or grouping that includes you and is derived from nonpublic personal information. It does not cover third parties not under our control (e.g., ISPs, other members, session participants, advertisers, or linked sites). Other sites we control may have additional terms or their own privacy policies.

101. Information Collection and Use

  • Protocol data your browser provides (e.g., IP address, requested page).
  • Activity on our pages (visits, logins, promotions/sweepstakes).
  • Registration and usage data you provide (name, address, birth date, email, username, and—where appropriate—billing details). Birth date helps us exclude users under 14.
  • Transaction data with us, our affiliates, or others (including emails and session participant info).
  • Information about you from business partners and third parties.

102. Disclosure of Nonpublic Personal Information

We do not rent or sell your nonpublic personal information in the ordinary course of business. We may disclose it:

  • (i) with your consent;
  • (ii) to deliver products/services you request;
  • (iii) in response to legal process (e.g., subpoenas);
  • (iv) in connection with violations or threatened violations of our terms;
  • (v) confidentially in a sale/merger/financing or reorganization, provided recipients maintain privacy protections at least as restrictive as ours; and
  • (vi) as otherwise permitted by law.

103. Your Right to Opt Out

104. Communications You Cannot Opt Out Of

We may send certain required communications (service announcements, administrative messages, legal notices, policy updates). Protocols inherent to the services (e.g., providing IP addresses, supplying a Host with participant identifiers) cannot be opted out of.

105. Editing Your Account Information

Members can log in to update registration info and marketing preferences. Some info must be retained for required notices and to limit fraud/abuse. Full removal can take up to 90 days and some data may remain in offline backups.

106. Security and Confidentiality

We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards. Access is limited to employees and service providers who reasonably need it to perform their work or deliver requested services.

107. Cookies

A cookie is a small data file (often including a unique identifier) stored by your browser. Your browser can manage cookie preferences (accept, reject, or prompt).

108. Our Use of Cookies

Some services require login and cookies. If you block cookies, those services may not function. We may use cookies to remember preferences, keep you logged in, improve products/services, measure usage, and offer relevant features.

109. Other Persons’ Use of Cookies

We don’t control content sent by other users or on public pages. Such content could include third-party cookies governed by their policies. Configure your browser or related software to manage third-party cookies as you prefer.
